Gerardus Nicolaas (Gerry) Appelman

Passed away peacefully at Tauranga Hospital, with his loving family by his side, on the 2^nd of July 2026; aged 93 years.

Dearly loved husband of Lenie, and much loved father / Papa of Simone, Nicole, and Marcel.  Loved father-in-law of Will and Martyn; and wonderful Opa to Edwin, Morgan, Sam, and Reed.  Loved Uncle of Rudy and Annelies, Lindy and Michael, and Geoff and Sue.  Loved brother, brother-in-law, and uncle of all his extended family in Holland and Australia.  Gerry is loved and will be missed by his many friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Thomas More Catholic Church, 17 Gloucester Road, Mount Maunganui on Thursday the 9^th of July at 11:00am.
